I saw an advert on tv about affordable home furniture on a budget.?

- Power house ? dont do it .. u pay over the odds and it takes ages to pay off .. your better to go for a low interest loan instead
- and? what is the question?
- You probably mean Brighthouse. But they will charge an awful lot of interest on the payments so you'll end up paying more than what the furniture is worth.
- it was probably for a company called bright house, dont go shop with them on credit there apr is very very high
- Save up and buy what you need. Brighthouse and companies like them just rinse poor people because they are desparate. By the time you've paid off the credit agreement you could have bought the goods three times over.
- Did Powehouse not go bust? Or am I thinking of a shop with the same name? Either way, I have a rule: if I can't afford it, don't buy it. Apart from the mortgage for a house, debt isn't worth it & neither is the high interest.
- Affordable = junk. All businesses are started up so they can make a profit for their owners. Even if the price offered on this furniture is "affordable" they still are going to make a profit from the sale. To me this means that the quality must be very cheap for the price to be cheap.
- i think it was for brighthouse. do not touch them with a barge pole. they rip you off. the interest rates on theie stuff amounts to extortion
- be carefull please as the apr will be sky hi if the apr is higher than 12per cent apr leave well alone as you are paying though the nose there is no such thing as a free ride.... look at the apr first before you do anything if you pay asa you go asin put money into the tv as well that is a rip off as well
- Factory shack...???
- Take one room at a time and find the set you want for that room. I bought the sofa first and paid for it, then went back and got the chair and paid for it. Then I went to a rental company and bought a 3 piece table set they had for sale. Sometimes they sell off furniture to make room for new shipments. You can get some good bargins that way. I bought 3 glass-top tables for $30 and saved over $100. Make sure to check the items carefully before you purchase. I would only buy accessories or bedroom furniture from them. Sofas and chairs are usually not in good shape when they are returned to the store.
- Like the others have said avoid these places like the plague they rip u off. U can pick up great bargains from ads in local papers.
