6. you can order direct from some manf. online in North Carolina. We bought great furniture at about half the price and they will ship to you.

8. Look at Target in addition to Ikea. They have some good looking pieces as well.

10. Moving Sales! People sell good home furnishings cheap cause they can't take it with them. I made an offer on a $20 mirror and got it for $10!
11. Join your local freecycle group, even better than cheap, it's free, and you save stuff from ending up in landfill.
12. Second hand. But, if you want new. I LOVE Ikea.
