Question about antiques?

Does anyone know of any good websites to look up information about antiques? In other words, if I have the info, can I put in the info and find out how much it's worth? Or find out the era of the piece? Thanks!

1. you have to get it appraised by a professional. Even if there were a site like that, I'm sure it would be incorrect. hope this helps
2. something is only worth what some one will give you for it try ebay for items you have if lots of people are bidding on it its probally worth something
