Who can scan scuffed antiques like keyrings so that the image inside is unhindered by the well worn exterior?

I have some french vintage keyrings, about 30yrs old, and I love the illustrations inside them but cannot bring myself to crack them open to get at them. Instead I would like to scan past the scuffed casing but don't have the technology or knowhow - does anybody know of a professional UK service that can?

1. can the casing be buffed out? i know for car headlamps there is a polish that buffs out the scratches and yellowing, i wonder if that would work on your keyrings?
