What is the most profitable way to sell antiques?

Should I sell to a dealer or try Ebay? I have linens, castiron cookware and wood crates.

1. I hate to sound like a smart as(s), but being a frequent watcher of the antiques road show- their experts also quote the life auction price much higher than a retail price.
