Does anyone know of a good site/forum for antiques to get identification and info on different pieces?
Just wondering, since YA doesn't seem to want to put an antiques section here. I have quite a few items i would like to get more info on. The problem is, I can't look up an item if I don't know what it is (Who made it, etc).

- Try going around antique stores and checking out their prices. Most dealers are helpful and have books to check the price for you. You can also look on ebay but prices vary quite a lot there and buyers mostly want bargains To look on the web you really need to look up whatever item you need the price of

- Ebay has many dicussion boards with many posters willing to help. Just choose the board most suitable for what you have and post a picture, giving any info you do know, like markings and such. http://pages.ebay.com/community/boards/index.html
- Hello, I have a well rounded antiques articles, tips and appraisal site at http://auctionwally.com Right now there are over 200 articles and appraisals I've personally written. I'm a licensed antiques auctioneer & appraiser with 25 + years in the business. I also have an online radio show at http://blogtalkradio.com/auctionwally Stop by and say hi. Both of the sites listed above are free.
