where can i get rid of my old furniture in groton, connecticut?

i want to simply get rid of it, i don't have a truck, and goodwill won't come and pick it up

1. Did you try Salvation Army or Amvets? I always have good luck with them picking up furniture.
2. put it on craigslist as "free"....www.craigslist.com, I'm sure groton is on there. I just got rid of a ton of stuff, put it in boxes outside my door and posted it and within 6 hours it was ALL GONE! Even the broken crap!
