"AUTHENTICATE" Antiques on EBay?

I am curious about dealing antiques on EBay. How does one sell or buy antiques if authentification is not immedialey in front of you. I heard antiques on EBay is lucrative but how do you prove their authenticity? Thanks No one (in their right mind) will spend money on something unless you prove it's an antique.

1. You've got to study antiques. Antiques is a broad term. I specialize in Victorian between 1850 and 1875. Get out to museums, antique shops, and live auctions and learn about antiques and prices. Specialize in something you like and enjoy. Cars, railroad, postcards, Art Deco pottery, American movie posters, rare books, etc.
