Does anyone know anything about antiques & collectibles?

My mom had given me an antique mason/canning jar a long time ago, and I was wondering if it was worth anything. It says "Good Housekeepers Regular Mason" on it and it also says "St. Louis" on the bottom of it. I know that Ball Mason jars are a dime a dosen, but I've never seen a mason jar like this before and I haven't had any luck doing internet searches.

  1. The Kovels have a website and publish books on antiques and collectibles. They would probably be your best bet to find out more about your mason jar. http://www.kovels.com/
  2. HI. Sounds like it is may be from the 1904 St. Louis Worlds Fair. To find out more, you can try contacting these sites and asking what the Good Housekeeping Exhibition at the fair was giving away or selling. http://homepages.apci.net/%7etruax/1904wf/Pike%20US%20Attractions.htm or try the historical society http://mohistory.org/content/fair/wf/html/resources/ You could also try contacting Good Housekeeping magazine they should also have a record of their history.
