how do you sell antiques to an antique store? what do you do? where?
ive recently acquired some beautiful antiques, which i have no room for, how to sell them to an antique dealer?

- you contact the antique store that you desire to sell them to someone comes out and inspects the items in question they give you a price they are willing to pay for the item/s you decide from there if that seems like a fair price google value of items ahead of time
- I used to work in an antique store, this is what I would advise, Take your item to different shops and see what they say. I would also travel to a persons home to look at the item. Most antique dealers will check your item out if it's too heavy for you to carry out. Also check out your item on the internet to make sure it's o.k. To sell, be aware that you have a price in your head and so does the buyer. Do not fall for the "i can only give you the best price thing" Get lots of estimates. Ask for referrals and ask your antique dealer how they got into the business, most are happy to tell you. Good luck
- id say take some pictures of them and take them into a dealer, i would also have them appraised by a dealer so you know how much to ask for. and they might refer you to a dealer
