redoing my roommm (vintage appeal)?

im redoing my room completly from walls to furniture. please help me get ideas for colors and vintage ideas. i am thinking painting my walls all white and the top of my room reallyyy light blue kinda like the sky. i love flor de les's so im gunna get black ones and hang them around my room. or paint them. also im going to hang a chandeliers. those are just some of my ideas. please helpp. vintage chic (:

1. Have you heard of Florence Broadhurst, she was an Australian wall paper and fabric designer. She was murdered in 1977 and ever since, her patterns have been highly sought after and very popular now, as wall paper is making a come back. It depends on what your budget is, as her fabrics and wall paper are rather expensive. You could maybe just get a small set of Fabric Wall Hangings as some of her most popular fabric are black and white.
