redoing my room-vintage?

i want to redo my room, but i want it vintage styled. like 1940's. where could i find furniture and bedspreads and wall colors? any ideas?

1. well to find great bedspreads you can go to bed bath and beyond. To find wall colors you can go to Home Depot or Lowe's.

4. They have some really cool stuff on QVC.com. They also have some crystals with magnets to put on a iron light fixture to make it more vintage! Check it out, QVC has all kinds of great items!!!
5. Watch some old movies from that era. If you have a problem finding bedding and drapes, you may have to make your own. There are a lot of vintage looking prints out there. Good luck.
