Y do they call old furniture antiques but old clothes vintage?

- Because nobody would want "Antique" clothes.

- Vintage clothing refers to clothing that is from 1920-1990's, anything before that is considered antique clothing.
- It's just another way of saying the same thing. I've seen furniture called vintage before, too, though.
