in the game Yoville. How do you get rid of old furniture in order to place new furniture?

I bought a sofa for my livingroom in yoville on Facebook. I do not know how to move the old one. Please help

1. While in the room you need to "Edit Room" and then when you are in that mode you click on and drag the items up to your inventory and then let go of the mouse, and at that point the item should be in your inventory, not in your room. Then you take the New Furniture which should be in your inventory, and you drag that down into your room where ever you want to place it.
2. while in the room - "edit room" drag old furniture up to the inventory drag new furniture into the room to get RID of items completely : while in the room - click on inventory locate and click on item you wish to dispose of when the pop-up opens it will tell you either "remove this item" (it disappears never to return) or "sell this item for $$$"
