Where can I find broken tile, old furniture, and old junk like that?

I am trying to do a few recycling project and I want to find old furniture and broken tile that wont be outrageously priced at an antique store. I am trying to find these things for basically free. Is there anywhere i can go to find them?

You could go to a hard ware store and ask if they have in ruined tile, that there willing to give away.. Old furniture you could drive around neighborhoods and see if they have anything thrown out. Check Salvation Army, Good Will, or Yard Sales..

I don't know about your neighborhood but in mine you'll see that stuff put out curbside every garbage pickup day. Just go up and take it. You can't get freer than that.
Go to a house salvage store or Habitat For Humanity or you can try Freecycle.org and chose an area close to you. Everything there is free,just post what you want.
Habitat for Humanity has materials like that. Have you checked at the Salvation Army and with people who have/maintain rental properties? An ad in the local newspaper offering to pick up materials at no cost might be worth a try.
