Finding money in old furniture?

Have you ever gone to the Salvation Army or the thrift store and dug around in the cushions for money?

1. NO ! That's a GREAT idea ! I did find at a garage sale a couch with $10 in the cushions...
2. Ha ha ha... I've stopped my car in front of houses where old over stuffed furniture has been tossed to the curb. I carry a scissors in the glove box for no particular reason, but it comes in handy when cutting away the bottom muslin sheet covering the springs. You can find all kinds of stuff inside old furniture, including exposed nails, razor blades, little things like that. Be careful, but enjoy your treasure hunt!
