How can tobacco smell be removed from old wood furniture safely?
Cleaning old wood furniture to remove tobacco without damaging finish.

- you could try shaking baking soda over it or if its a table etc wiping it down with water and a bit of baking soda but have the cloth just dampened not soaking... if u are shaking baking powder over it, leave it on overnite then vacuum next day.
- May have to work down the finish and re-finish There are products like "smoke be gone" that is used in cleaning after fires, it works on smoke smell and would work on tobacco smell also
