How can you find out about old furniture?

I have a piece of furniture that was given to me by a older friend. It was her grandmothers and I am trying to find out how old it really is. The back of it says: No. 3392 Buffet Solid Cherry Old Salem Fin.

1. It is obviously not very old or valuable. It was made in a factory assembly line. Solid cherry furniture is good, use it and enjoy it. The manufacturer's name is labeled on a drawer.
