Does Out of the Closet accept old furniture?
I'm trying to get rid of an old sofa, an old sofa bed, and an old recliner. I put them out in the front yard with hopes someone would buy them for cheap or even just take them but no dice. I don't necessarily want money for them. So I'm wondering if the Out of the Closet thrift store takes furniture? You're right spknkitman. I should reserve this forum for asking serious questions like "Have you ever seen your father in his underwear?" Thanks to the others who are providing some alternative solutions. Sorry, no Broyhill stuff.

- Wouldn't it make more sense to just call the Out of the Closet thrift store and ask them directly?
- I am thinking of redecorating my apartment and I could really use some furniture
- If the stuff is Broyhill and you live anywhere North of me I will bring my flatbed to collect it. Broyhill is so retro !!
- if not the salvation army might... also call a rehab clinic we have bridgehouse in new orleans, they are always looking for donations also local public schools too...
- You could check with the Red Cross too. They help people get set up after fires. Many churches know people who might be able to use them or have a thrift shop. Casa organizations may know sick people who could use them. Very noble of you to want to pass them along to people instead of a land fill.
