How can you find out about old furniture?

I have a piece of furniture that was given to me by a older friend. It was her grandmothers and I am trying to find out how old it really is. The back of it says: No. 3392 Buffet Solid Cherry Old Salem Fin. Okay, if you read what I wrote before then you will note that there was writing on the back!!

1. Uhh, Why dont u take some DNA off it? did someone else have it before?
2. Is there a maker's mark on it anywhere? A signature? You could write to the Keno Brothers and see if they can help.
